As per the customized itinerary the very first day will be in Mazinagudi , in Muduamali Tiger Reserve. Accommodation can be either in jungle resort or in home stay. Mazinagudi village is located inside Mudumalai Tigre reserve bordering Bandipur National Park. It is well connected with Cochin, Mysore and Coimbatore. The very first day you will be guided for local walk through village and forest fringes for animals and birds. Depends on type of stay, in-house activities will be arranged.

The day is allotted for a morning safari and afternoon hiking. You will get an exclusive jeep safari in Muduamalai Tiger Reserve. After noon you will get evening safari in Bandipur National Park, searching for another chance to see big cats. The very next day you will be guided for a jungle walk. After check out from the stay you will be transferred to a waterhole camp in Zingara area. The jungle camp offers wildlife watch in rugged campsite, but with all camping facilities. If you need hotel accommodation you can opt after activities in the camp. Both walking safari, jeep safari will also be provided in each day.

Nagarhole National Park is in state of Karnataka sharing its flora and fauna with Bandipur National Park and Wayanad Wildlife sanctuary. Kabini river catchment inside the park is a wildlife hotspot with undisturbed habitat. The park has the highest density of Tiger , elephants and black panther. It harbours good number of species of wildlife with good number of individuals. The park provides two category of safaris-One run by the Jungle Lodges and the other by the forest department. The one from Jungle Lodges is available only for those who stays in approved resorts in the area. Both boat and land safari is available in the morning and evening. The accommodation and safari from jungle resorts are expensive than the one from forest department. Safari from Forest Department cannot be reserved in advance. It is served in first come first basis. A 22 seats van is using for this safari. North Nagarhole also provide van safari.Kabini provides the best Tiger Safari in South India.

Wayanad Wildlife sanctuary has two focal centers- Muthanga and Tholpetty. Bothe the area are providing jeep safaris, but not attractive for a nature enthusiast. It shares its flora and fauna with Mudumalai Tiger reserve, Bandipur and Nagarhole. Wayanad faces severe man –tiger conflict in entire Western Ghats. The area is thickly populated and fragmented by plantations. In Wayanad we provides walking safari through tropical wet evergreen forest between Wayanad and Malabar Sanctuary.After Nagarhole you will be transferred to Mananthavadi area of Wayanad forest for walking safari and jungle camp. The walking safari is an amazing experience of primary rainforest of west coast. The camp will be provided atop the grass hill. Those who don’t need walking safari will be provided with short nature trails and heritage site visits in Wayanad. Those who need real forest hiking experiences , these day long hike are enthralling. From Wayanad you will be transferred to Cochin
From Wayanad the traverse turn south wards to Cochin. There are no activities or visit between Wayanad and Cochin as per the original plan. You can continue the trip as in original plan or customize it by proceeding to North towards Mysore –Bangalore or to the west coast towards Malabar beach / Goa.
