Chinnar Camps

Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the border between Kerala and Tamilnadu State. It is laying under the rain shadow of Western Ghats. It is a tropical savanna type of forest sandwiched between Palani Hills and Anamalais of South Western Ghats. The undulated terrain and open forests are its peculiarities and offers a panoramic view of landscape. There are three types of camps available in this sanctuary- the tree house, the log house and hill top hut with different ranges of facilities. It can be accessible by road from Cochin(200 kms), Munnar (55 kms) and Coimbatore(100 kms).

Parambikulam Camps

Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is the best protected ecological piece of Anamalai sub unit of Western Ghats, surrounded on all sides by protected areas and sanctuaries of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The tented camps, watchtower camping, tree house camping etc. are the jungle camps offered in this sanctuary. The activities includes safari, hiking, rafting etc. accompanied by a naturalists.It can be accessible by road from Cochin(200 kms) and Coimbatore(80 kms)

Anamudi Chola Camp

Anamudi chola National Park is the largest high altitude cloud forest in Asia. It is perched on the roof of Palani Hills. The national park is located about 35 kms from Munnar hill station. There is a log house, at top a hill, facilitating view of Anamalai ranges and the vast table lands between Palani hills is the only camping site. The forest is very rich in high altitude flora and fauna.

Eravikulam Camp

This national park is 150 km away from Cochin(12 kms from Munnar). It is an important home for an endangered and endemic Nilgiri Thar. More over it harbours hundreds of endemic and endangered species of plants. The area of park is about 100 sqkm, and is adjourned to Grass land national Park, Chinnar wildlife sanctuary The camping programe in this national park is arranged in Tribal hamlets.

Grassland Camp (Munnar)

Munnar camps are tented camping in the outskirt of Munnar hill station. It offers an overnight camping in the chilling meadows and grasslands. Campfire dinner, Stars watch and listening nature etc are the programmes.

Anamalai Camp

Annamalai tiger reserve is located in the border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The south end of this park is about 60 kms from Munnar (80 kms from Coimbatore). The sanctuary covers 958 square km of the territory. The north end of this park is accessible by road from Cochin(180 kms) and Coimbatore(70 kms). Watch tower camping, jungle lodges etc are the camping facilities available in this park.

Chimmony Camp

Chimmony Wildlife Sanctuary is located about 75 kms North of Cochin. It is a low altitude tropical evergreen forest. Tented camps and tree house camps are the available camping facilities in Chimmony. Nature walks, butterfly watch, rafting etc are the programmes attached with camping.

Silent Valley Camp

Silent valley national park is the most celebrated rain forest in India. It is an ecological island isolated between Nilgiri Mountains and Malabar coast. There is no camping facilities in the core zone. But one jungle camp is available in the buffer zone forest.
