Why Farm Stays
Real India is living in its villages... Still about 70 percentages of our people are living in villages and depending on agriculture and allied activities. Fora foreign traveler India is mystic , land of festivals , thousands of cultures and mega diversity. So to experience India you have to go to villages and take part in their activities. There is no better way to understand India and Indians.
Due to globalization most of our farms and plantations are facing severe price fluctuation. Increased input cost and price fluctuation together put our agriculture sector in doldrums. Apart from farmers millions of agricultural labours lost their jobs, farming became a curse and burden. Our government and NGOs are doing a lot to minimize this problem. As part of our responsible activity and Village tourism promotion we are promoting farm stays and home stays in selected centers having enough tourism potential. Our farmers and families are most welcoming. The selected farm stays and home stays have good quality of accommodation. Though the staffs are not from hotel field they are well trained for receiving and treating our guests. They are very good agricultural workers, cooks, nature guides and care takers as well. Our farm stays are full board package including home cooked meals, total village and nature experience. Accommodation are of different range depending on the size of the farm- from modern cottages with all amenities to family home stead
We suggests to club at least one farm stay and one home stay in your Indian tour, either in the mountains, midland or beach. We have a series of eco-tours in which farm stays and home stays are clubbed. We are also promoting single way booking of any of our farm stays in following destinations.
